Trailer of The Day- Justice League

The first official trailer for DC’s ensemble superhero flick was just released by Warner Brothers.

In this trailer, we see a few more glimpses of Aquaman (Jason Momoa) Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) fighting alongside Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), as well as the first footage of J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.

In Justice League, Batman, along with Wonder Woman, unite other metahumans to protect the earth from an newly awakened evil.

Wonder Woman will have her own solo venture this June, so it’s probable we’ll see an Easter egg or two for Justice League around that time.

Directed by Zach Snyder, Justice League releases this November.

Manchester By The Sea Review

By: Mark Di Stefano
Rating: 9.5 out of 10

With movies, we’ve been accustomed to it’s structure, plot-beats, monologues and any other device used to keep us in our seats. Whether it’s cheesy dialogue, over-acting, or just defying all dangerous obstacles to save the world, no matter if it’s the bottom of the barrel or an Oscar winner we forgive these movies because, well, they’re movies. They’re not real.

Manchester By The Sea IS real. Yes, this is a movie; It has a beginning, middle and end like every other one out there, but it’s one that hits closer to home than most. It’s a powerful experience, grounded in spectacular realism that can’t be compared to anything else this year.

Gone Girl Review

Nick Dunne thinks this to himself as he looks at his wife, Amy. Not even 30 seconds into Gone Girl, and already I’m on the edge of my seat in suspense. Everyone in the audience, especially those seeing it with a loved one, are sure in for a wild ride. Looking back at 2014, Gone Girl was probably the most gripping movie I’ve seen in theaters that year.

The Town Review

By: Bryan Montgomery (
Rating: 9 out of 10

Imagine what would have happened if The Departed took Heat out on a date.  The night goes pretty well, but The Departed has one too many Samuel Adams Boston Lagers, and Heat one too many daiquiris.  One thing leads to another…which results in The Town.

Now that’s a heavily sarcastic way of describing Ben Affleck’s new film, which is absolutely one of the best films of the year, and shows that Ben Affleck must now be considered as one of the better film directors in the business, as both this and his last film, Gone Baby Gone, are legitimized hits that will be seen as great crime movies set in the city of Boston. More after the break.
