Remembering Mike Nichols

Still_portrait_Mike_NicholsCelebrated director of stage and screen Mike Nichols passed away last night at the age of 83. The director brought us classics such as Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and The Birdcage, as well as The Graduate, which changed the landscape of film as we know it today.

One of the few people on earth to be a member of the “EGOT” club (those who won an Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Oscar),  the last film he directed was 2007’s Charlie Wilson’s War.

Indiewire compiled some of Nichols’ films you can stream via Netflix or Amazon Prime. They’ve also pulled various acceptance speeches and even posted clips highlighting his years as one-half of the comedy duo Nichols and May. You can check them out here.
