Underworld: Awakening Review

This series should have stayed dead, now what few fans are left are only around. Unfortunately, those that remain are left to watch the garbage that is the Underworld series. After an entertaining and structured initial two installments, the Underworld series has gone in a complete free-fall, only further proven by the newest installment, Underworld:Awakening, a loud, dumb attempt at re-vitalizing a dead franchise and making a few dollars along the way.

Fright Night Review

As a movie critic I pride myself on being able to find at least one thing I enjoy about every movie I watch and up to Aug. 22, I had accomplished that goal.

At roughly 4 p.m. on that fateful Monday, the streak ended. It was a streak I was proud of but, no matter how hard I tried, I could not find one redeeming quality with Fright Night.

Let Me In Review

Vampire movies are a dime a dozen.  The genre has been beaten to death since Twilight became a part of the equation, with movies being dished out with lack of major production.  However, Let Me In is one major exception to this genre.  Carefully adapted from Swedish Hit Let the Right One In, Matt Reeves, the director of Cloverfield hits the right chords and single-handedly redeems the vampire genre…for now.
