If Christopher Nolan was able to re-define the way to make a reboot, Total Recall serves as yet another example why some “re-imaginations” should never see the light of day. A visual and auditory exhibition with great visuals but little heart, Total Recall stumbles out of the gate and never recovers, becoming another generic and instantly forgettable popcorn flick.

Fright Night Review

As a movie critic I pride myself on being able to find at least one thing I enjoy about every movie I watch and up to Aug. 22, I had accomplished that goal.

At roughly 4 p.m. on that fateful Monday, the streak ended. It was a streak I was proud of but, no matter how hard I tried, I could not find one redeeming quality with Fright Night.

Arthur Review

Arthur, the 1981 film with Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli, John Gielgud, and written & directed by Steve Gorden, is a comic, sweet delight.  The 2011 remake, is something that comes close but gets no cigar.
